Butter Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 margarine
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 2/3 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. cake flour or 2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour baking pan, 13 x 9 x 2-inches or three 8-inch round layer pans.
    In large mixer bowl, mix butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until fluffy.
    Beat 5 minutes on high speed, scraping bowl occasionally.
    On low speed, mix flour, baking powder and salt alternately with milk; pour into pans.
    Bake oblong at 450\u00b0 for 50 minutes, layers at 300\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
    Cool.
