Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    almost 2 gal. popped corn
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients and bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil 5 minutes.
    Add baking soda and vanilla. Pour over popped corn.
    If desired, add peanuts to syrup.
    Pour syrup over corn. Bake 1 hour at 250\u00b0.
    Stir every 15 minutes.
    Spread on waxed paper.
    When cool, break apart.
