Chicken In Wine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 pieces chicken
    2 Tbsp. Crisco
    12 small onions (can of small onions)
    1 bay leaf
    salt and pepper
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 c. mushrooms
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. red wine
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1/2 tsp. thyme
Preparation
    Flour chicken and brown in skillet.
    Place in casserole.
    Mix all other ingredients and pour over chicken.
    Bake covered for 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
