Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 c. canned applesauce
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream butter, gradually add sugar; add eggs and beat well. Stir dry ingredients together.
Add alternately with applesauce. Stir in raisins and nuts.
Put in greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until done.
Cool in pan.
Serve with Cool Whip or lemon sauce.
