Bridget'S Best Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 or 4 lb. ham
8 to 10 medium potatoes
1 lb. fresh string beans
Preparation

Cover ham with water.
Bring to a boil, turn down, simmer for 1 hour.
Remove meat.
Add beans and potatoes.
Cut meat into bite-size pieces and return to broth.
When beans and potatoes are cooked, soup is done, about 1 hour.
