Stuffed Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    3 c. soft bread crumbs
    2 c. finely chopped apples
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    2 tsp. chopped parsley
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add onion; saut until lightly browned.
    Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Slit 6 double-thick pork chops from outer edge to bone to make a pocket. Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper inside and out.
    Stuff loosely with dressing mixture.
    Brown in skillet 15 to 20 minutes.
    Bake in oven, covered, 45 minutes; uncover 15 minutes or until tender (350\u00b0).
