Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. fresh or frozen peaches, sweetened
    2 1/2 Tbsp. tapioca
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1 egg
    1/3 c. milk
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Put tapioca over peaches; add sugar, if needed.
    Place in buttered baking dish.
    Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
    Cut in 6 tablespoons butter.
    Beat the egg with the
    milk; stir into flour mixture.
    Drop by spoonfuls over peaches.
    Bring to boil 3/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water and 3 tablespoons butter. Pour this over batter.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
    Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
