Boiled Shrimp In Hull - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. raw shrimp, washed
    3 bay leaves
    1 Tbsp. whole allspice
    1 1/2 Tbsp. crushed red pepper
    2 tsp. whole black peppers or 1 tsp. ground pepper
    1/4 c. vinegar
    2 qt. water
    1/4 c. salt
Preparation
    Add all ingredients to water except shrimp; bring to a boil. Add washed shrimp.
    Cover.
    Return to boiling.
    Reduce heat; simmer for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on size.
    Remove from heat and let stand 3 more minutes.
    Drain and chill.
    Can be hulled and deveined or served in shell.
    Good with catsup base cocktail sauce.
    Serves 6 to 8.
