Smothered Cabbage Wedges - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium cabbage, cut in wedges
1/4 c. chopped onion
4 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk
3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Cook cabbage in small amount of salted water; drain well. Place cooked cabbage in baking dish.
In small saucepan, cook onion in butter until tender, but not brown.
Blend in flour, salt and pepper; add milk.
Cook and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles.
Pour over cabbage.
Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Spoon cheese over wedges and bake 5 more minutes.
Makes 8 servings.
