Hamburger Lentil Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger, browned
    5 3/4 c. tomato juice
    4 c. hot water
    1 c. dry lentils
    1 c. diced carrots
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped cabbage
    1/2 c. minced onion
    1 bay leaf, dried
    1 tsp. green pepper or 1/2 c. chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. Accent
Preparation
    Brown hamburger in large pan.
    Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, then simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until lentils are tender.
    Makes 6 servings.
