Hollander Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 tsp. warm water
    3 c. quick oats
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream sugars and shortening together.
    Add eggs, vanilla and warm water to creamed mixture; blend well.
    Add flour, baking soda and baking powder, which have been sifted together.
    Combine oatmeal, coconut and nuts together; add to mixture.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 8 minutes, or until done.
