Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1 cup sugar
    1 small box lemon jello
    1 cup cold water
    1/4 cup lemon juice
    2 cups mild cheddar cheese (shredded)
    1 cup nuts
    1 cup or more Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bring pineapple and sugar to a boil and add jello, water and lemon juice.
    Place in refrigerator and let it set.
    (Soft set.) Then add cheese, nuts and cool whip.
    Return to refrigerator until set.
