Mom'S Sunshine Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. large cukes, peeled and cut in chunks
    3 c. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. turmeric powder
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine ingredients. Bring to a boil and boil until cukes are tender and clear (approximately 1/2 hour).
    Pack at once in jars and seal.
