Cabbage Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 to 1 lb. Neese's hot sausage
    3 medium or 2 large bell peppers
    3 medium onions
    garlic or garlic powder
    3 to 4 bay leaves
    3 regular cans stewed tomatoes
    1 small to medium head cabbage
Preparation
    Fry sausage; drain.
    Add chopped onions, peppers, bay leaves and garlic.
    Cook a few minutes.
    Add canned tomatoes (chopped) and simmer 20 minutes.
    Add cabbage.
    Remain cooking 40 more minutes!
