Cornbread Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. corn meal (self-rising)
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    2 eggs
    1 ham bone with some ham left on it
Preparation
    Boil ham bone in large pot with salt and pepper and crushed red pepper to your taste.
    Take about 1 cup broth.
    Cool.
    Mix with meal, flour and eggs.
    Add only enough broth to make a stiff batter.
    Wet hands and make small cakes from batter.
    Drop into boiling broth.
    Cook 10 minutes uncovered and cover on low heat for 25 minutes.
