Scampi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. olive oil
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    3 cloves garlic, pressed or minced
    1 lb. raw shrimp
    1/2 c. white wine
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. parsley
Preparation
    Place olive oil in a heavy skillet and add salt, pepper and garlic.
    Heat until garlic is golden.
    Add shrimp, wine and lemon juice.
    Cover and cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
    Shake the pan from time to time and spoon some of the liquid over the shrimp.
    Place the shrimp in soup bowls and pour the savory liquid over.
    Sprinkle generously with parsley.
    Serve with rice.
    Serves 2.
