Green Beans And Pearl Onions - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pt. pearl onions, roots trimmed
2 lb. green beans
2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1/2 c. toasted coarsely chopped walnuts
1 Tbsp. fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tsp. grated lemon zest
1/2 tsp. each: salt and pepper
Preparation

In saucepan of boiling water, cook onion for 3 minutes. Remove to bowl.
Cook beans 6 minutes in same water.
Drain and rinse with cold water.
Peel onions.
In large skillet, melt butter in oil over medium heat.
Add onions and stir occasionally, 15 to 20 minutes, until browned.
Add remaining ingredients and mix.
Cook 3 to 4 minutes, until hot.
Makes 8 servings.
