Ingredients

2 cans (1 lb.) beets, drained (reserve liquid)
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. vinegar
2 or 3 cinnamon sticks
1 large chopped onion
Preparation

In pan, combine juice, onions, cinnamon and vinegar. Heat to boiling and pour over beets. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours.
