Spanish Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. bacon drippings
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 can whole corn, drained
    1 small can green chilies
    1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Pour half the batter into a greased pan.
    Place layer of chilies, layer of cheese and then remaining batter.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until done.
