Crab Cakes - Maryland Style - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) container crab meat
1 c. mashed potatoes
2 eggs, whipped well
1/4 c. finely minced onion
2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
1/4 tsp. pepper or to taste
Preparation

Blend all the ingredients thoroughly.
Then make into about 3-inch cakes.
Use a wide, heavy frying pan if possible.
Lightly oil and heat to medium temperature.
Cook the cakes until brown on both sides and serve immediately while hot.
Use sauce, if desired.
