Kentucky Fried Rabbit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 young rabbits (2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lb.)
    2 eggs, beaten
    3 c. milk
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 c. oil
Preparation
    Wash dressed rabbits thoroughly.
    Dry; cut into pieces. Combine eggs and the milk; add 1 cup flour gradually.
    Salt and pepper and beat until smooth.
    Dip rabbit into batter and fry in oil until brown, about 15 minutes.
    Reduce heat and continue cooking until tender, 30 to 40 minutes, turning frequently. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
