Herb And Garlic Tenderloin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. well-trimmed beef tenderloin roast
    2 tsp. dried Italian herbs
    pinch of cracked black pepper
    3 or 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Combine seasoning ingredients; press onto roast.
    Place on rack in roasting pan.
    Roast approximately 50 to 60 minutes for medium rare to medium.
    Remove roast when meat thermometer registers 140\u00b0 for medium rare.
    Let stand 15 minutes. Carve roast into slices.
    Serves 8 to 10.
