Gulyas Soup With Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. stewing steak
    1 Tbsp. fat
    1 onion
    1 tsp. paprika pepper
    1 level tsp. caraway seed
    1 lb. potatoes
    1 egg
    1 cupful breadcrumbs
    black ground pepper
Preparation
    Mince the meat and in the heated fat, brown the chopped onion. Add the paprika pepper and the caraway seed to the browned onion. Stir and pour in one and a half pints to cold water.
    Now mix the minced meat with moist bread crumbs and the egg.
    Season well with salt and pepper and shape into small balls.
