Potatoes Romanoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 medium potatoes
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1/2 ??? green onions, chopped
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Peel and cut potatoes into 1/2-inch cubes.
    Boil potatoes 5 minutes until almost done.
    Drain potatoes and mix in butter, salt and pepper.
    Add sour cream and green onions, mixing well.
    Pour in a 9 x 9-inch casserole dish.
    Sprinkle cheese on top.
    Bake 30 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
