Okra Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oil
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. sliced okra
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce or stewed
    1/2 c. rice (uncooked, non-instant)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    water
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Cook onion and okra in oil for about 10 minutes or until onion wilts.
    Spread into baking dish. Pour tomatoes over top, then sprinkle rice and salt, pepper and garlic.
    Cover with water.
    Top with grated cheese.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
