Homemade Loaf Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. warm tap water
1 pkg. yeast
2 heaping Tbsp. shortening
2 heaping Tbsp. sugar
3 c. self-rising flour
Preparation

Mix yeast in the 1 1/4 cups of water. Add shortening and stir; add sugar. Add flour all at once. Let rise 1 hour in warm place. Punch down and put in a loaf pan that has been well-greased. Let rise 1 hour and bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
