Sauerbraten - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, sliced
    1/2 lemon, sliced
    1 1/2 c. red wine vinegar
    2 1/2 c. water
    12 whole cloves
    6 bay leaves
    6 whole black peppercorns
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    4 lb. beef bottom round
    gingersnap cookies, broken
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    You will need 1 roasting bag and freezer bag.
