Shrimp And Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    3 Tbsp. grated onion
    3 Tbsp. grated green pepper
    3 Tbsp. flour
    14 oz. can or 2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 tsp. ground red pepper
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/2 c. fried crumbled bacon
    1 lb. raw peeled shrimp
Preparation
    Saute onion and green pepper in oil until tender.
    Stir in the flour until smooth.
    Gradually add the chicken broth and stir until thick.
    Add the bacon, spices and shrimp and heat until the shrimp is cooked.
    Serve over creamy grits.
