Butter Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

8 egg yolks
1 1/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. hot milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. cake flour
1 1/3 tsp. baking powder
1/3 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter, melted
Preparation

Beat egg yolks with sugar until light and lemon colored. Add milk and flavoring. Add sifted dry ingredients, then fold in melted butter. Bake in 2 waxed paper-lined 9-inch cake pans in a 350\u00b0 oven 40 to 50 minutes or until done.
