Carrot And Apple Tzimmes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. grated carrots
3/4 c. grated apple
2 to 4 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
-
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan with a tight-fitting lid.
Cook over low heat for approximately 1 hour or until softened and cooked down.
Serves 4.
