Hungarian Goulash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    salt and pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil or shortening
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes or tomato juice
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 tsp. sugar
    3/4 c. uncooked macaroni
    3/4 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a large skillet, cook beef, salt and pepper and onion in shortening or oil until beef is slightly browned.
    Add tomatoes or tomato juice, tomato paste and sugar. Simmer over low for 20 minutes.
