Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. lard
    4 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk and soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 c. plain flour
    1 c. black walnuts
    1 c. cherries
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. jam or blackberries
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Bake for 2 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
