Ed'S Famous Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 ham bone with a little meat on it
10 potatoes, diced
3 stalks celery, diced
12 carrots, diced
2 onions, diced
1 large (64 oz.) can Great Northern beans
1/4 tsp. pepper
6 c. water (or more, depending on the size of pot; add more water)

Preparation

In a large soup pot, combine all ingredients.
Bring to boil. Reduce heat; cook all day.
