Camp Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
    1 c. tomato juice or 3 Tbsp. catsup plus 1 c. water
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen hash browns or 2 c shredded, fresh potatoes
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
    3 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1 Tbsp. butter (optional)
    1 beef bouillon cube
Preparation
    Brown meat quickly with onion.
    Add tomato juice.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Simmer until veggies are tender.
    Makes 6 servings.
