Cocoa Chiffon Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. cocoa
3/4 c. boiling water
8 eggs, separated
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 3/4 c. cake flour, sifted
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. salad oil
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix cocoa and boiling water.
Stir until smooth, set aside. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until very stiff.
Sift dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Make a well in center.
Add oil, egg yolks and cocoa.
Mix and add vanilla.
Beat well.
Fold in egg whites.
Use angel food pan.
Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 55 minutes. Raise heat to 350\u00b0 and continue 10 minutes.
