Traditional Southern Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup margarine
1 recipe egg bread
4-5 cups of chicken stock (from a fat hen is best and really makes a difference)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon sage
4 eggs, slightly beaten
Preparation

Saut onions and celery in margarine.
Crumble egg bread and mix in the stock until the mixture is very moist.
Add sauteed onions and celery, then mix in salt, pepper, and sage.
Add the four eggs and blend well.
Bake 30 minutes at 400 degrees.\tServes 10-12.
