Chocolate Meringues - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites, room temperature
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 c. pecans
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Preparation
    Preheat
    oven
    to 350\u00b0.
    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper on foil.
    In\tmedium\tbowl,
    beat
    egg
    whites until frothy. Gradually add sugar
    a little at a time, beating until mixture holds
    stiff
    peaks.
    Fold\tin
    pecans
    and
    chocolate pieces. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheet. Place in
    preheated
    oven,\tquickly close door and turn off oven. Let cookies
    remain
    overnight
    or at least 5 hours. Do not open oven door until after 5 hours.
    Yield: 30 cookies.
