Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 c. water (not cholorined)
    2 c. vinegar
    1 c. canning salt
    grape or bay leaves
    dill
    onions
    garlic
    carrots
    red chilies
Preparation
    Wash fresh picked cucumbers and crisp in ice water.
    Sterilize jars and lids while bringing water, vinegar and salt to a boil. In each jar, place 1 slice of onion, 1 clove of garlic, 1 carrot, 1 red chili, 1 bay or grape leaf and 1 stalk of fresh dill.
    Pack cucumbers. Cover with boiling mixture. Seal one jar at a time.
