Herbed Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. long grain rice
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    2 c. chicken broth
    3/4 c. water
    2 bay leaves (fresh)
    2 tsp. fresh thyme, minced
    3 green onions, sliced
Preparation
    Combine first five ingredients in a medium size saucepan. Bring to a boil.
    Cover.
    Reduce heat and simmer 30 to 45 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
    Remove from heat and discard bay leaves.
    Stir in thyme.
    Top with sliced, green onions.
    Serves 6.
