Chicken Liver Pate - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chipped (1 c.)
    1 c. butter (2 sticks)
    1 lb. chicken livers
    1/2 c. canned chicken broth
    2 Tbsp. wine
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 large clove garlic, crushed (optional)
    2 Tbsp. cognac
    1 c. walnuts, crushed
Preparation
    Saute onion with 1/2 cup butter until golden.
    Add livers and remaining butter.
    Add chicken broth, wine, etc.
    Cook 5 minutes longer.
    Add cognac.
    Whirl in blender and add walnuts to blender or chop and add for crunch.
