Cold Vegetable Salad(This Salad Recipe Is My Sister, Luella'S, Favorite.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can white corn, drained
    1 can small peas, drained
    1 can French-style green beans, drained
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. onions, chopped
    1 c. celery, diced
    1 c. green peppers, chopped
    1 jar pimentos
Preparation
    In a large bowl, mix corn, peas and green beans.
    Add onions, celery, green peppers and pimentos.
    In a saucepan, mix remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
    Let cool, then pour over vegetables.
    Stir occasionally, and refrigerate 24 hours before serving.
    (It is possible to serve immediately, but the flavor is better if you wait.) Serves 8 to 12.
