Cranberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. orange juice
1 tsp. orange rind, grated
1 egg, well beaten
1/4 c. melted shortening
2 c. cranberries, coarsely chopped
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Sift together flour, sugar and other dry ingredients.
Combine juice, egg and melted shortening. Add this to dry ingredients and mix only until moistened.
Carefully fold in cranberries and nuts. Spoon into 2 greased loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
