Fruit Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
    1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 c. melted margarine or melted butter
    1 (21 or 24 oz.) can apple, apricot, blueberry, cherry, peach, strawberry or raspberry pie filling
    Powdered Sugar Icing (optional)
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, stir together flour, oats, brown sugar and baking soda.
    Then stir in melted margarine or butter until well combined.
    Set 2 cups of the oat mixture aside for topper.
    Pat the remaining oat mixture into an ungreased 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
