Ingredients

2 qt. coarse or chopped cabbage
2 medium onions, chopped
1 green and 1 red bell pepper
1 small hot pepper
1 c. vinegar
3 c. or less sugar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. turmeric
Preparation

Mix and heat to a boil:
vinegar, sugar, celery seed, salt, mustard and turmeric.
After mixture comes to a boil, add 1 cup Wesson oil.
Mix together with vegetables and chill.
