Nellie'S Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 1/2 lb.) can kraut, well drained
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 small jar pimentos, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix together first 5 ingredients together in bowl.
    In saucepan, bring to boil sugar, salad oil and vinegar.
    Remove from heat.
    Cook; pour over kraut mixture and let stand for 24 hours.
