Cinnamon Nut Mixture(Magic Reindeer Feet) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. whole almonds
2 c. pecan halves
6 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. ground cinnamon
2 tsp. ground allspice
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. ground ginger
2 egg whites

Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
In a large saucepan, cover almonds and pecans with water.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 1 minute.
Drain well.
