Swedish Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
    1 c. flour
    1 egg white (unbeaten)
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar well.
    Add slightly beaten egg yolk and then add flour.
    Mix until dough is formed.
    Roll in medium size balls.
    Dip them in egg white and roll in crushed walnuts or pecans.
    Press down centers with finger.
    Bake for 5 minutes in a 325\u00b0 oven.
    Remove from oven and press down again.
    Replace in oven and bake from 10 to 15 minutes.
    When cool, fill with jam.
