Wassail - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. whole cloves
1 Tbsp. allspice
1 gal. apple cider or apple juice
2 qt. cranberry juice
6 (3-inch) long cinnamon sticks
Preparation

Wrap cloves and allspice in a double thickness of cheesecloth. Tie securely.
In an 8-quart pan, heat cider or juice and cranberry juice to boiling point.
Reduce heat to low and simmer 20 minutes.
Pour into a serving container.
Makes 24 cups.
