Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) box strawberry jello
    1 large can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple
    1 large Cool Whip
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Heat pineapple and Jell-O together.
    Cool completely, then add buttermilk and Cool Whip and stir.
    Add chopped pecans and put in refrigerator until ready.
