Festive Holiday Jello Mold - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large box lime Jell-O
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 c. crushed walnuts or pecans
Preparation
    Mix Jell-O with hot water and ice cubes; follow instructions on box.
    Place in refrigerator until half jelled; do not overfreeze. Remove; add sour cream with electric mixer.
    Beat until sour cream and Jell-O are thoroughly mixed.
    Drain pineapple until all juice is gone.
    Add pineapple to mixture and nuts.
    Put into bowl. Garnish with split cherries.
    Chill until set.
